There are a variety of exotic tropical fish out there, and not only are they valuable but more importantly they are beautiful and breathtaking to look at. If you learn about the different exotic tropical fish, then you will be able to determine not only which ones you like best and prefer, but also which would make the best combination if you are planning on putting them in tank together. Oscars Oscars tend to be considered as being aggressive fish, and so you really need to be careful when it comes to placing them with other fish. They are available in a variety of different colors and sizes, and when they are smaller, they are able to live for a short time in smaller aquariums. However once they start to grow you will want to increase the size of their living space as well, up to at least a 50 gallon aquarium. They are considered as being one of the best types of exotic tropical fish because they are so easy to look after and maintain. When they are smaller, you can simply feed them floating flake fish food for tropical fish, and then when they have grown to be over three inches long, you simply need to start purchasing floating pellet food. Even though you can technically feed them other types of food, including feeder gold fish and black worms, you want to just stick to giving them the floating pellet food if you can. Angel Fish Angel fish are another fan favorite when it comes to exotic tropical fish, and they are truly one of the most beautiful types of fish in the world. They tend to be rather weak fish when they are smaller but their strength increases dramatically as they get older, and they are great aquarium fish and are also incredibly easy to breed. They are also great because they are so compatible with so many other types of fish, such as Silver Dollars and large Tetras, Swordtails, Platies and Mollies, Bala sharks, Gouramis, Rainbows and Giant Danios. The Butterfly Loach Fish The Butterfly Loach fish are another of the more popular types of exotic tropical fish, and they are great fish because they adapt very easily and well to aquarium life. They are also incredibly entertaining to watch in an aquarium, as can often be seen sucking on the side of the aquarium glass. As well they are compatible with most other exotic fish.
